The graphic part of the Construction Passport data is managed by the Facility Management Division at the Management of the University Campus at Bohunice. Attribute data for the relevant spatial data of the Construction Passport are managed by the Information Systems Division at the Institute of Computer Science.
The Construction Passport consists of information on buildings, rooms, and other structural elements.
This includes information on doors and windows, ceilings, stairways, ramps, etc. The precise location and attributes of each such element are recorded. Attributes concern individual types of floors, walls, and ceilings, including their surface area. Further specific information is provided e.g. on doors (material, security elements, direction of opening), windows (surface area of glass and frames), and staircases. Dimensions are automated using a special-purpose tool.
The Technology System Passport consists of information on technology systems and equipment used, as well as on logical interconnections.
Records are provided on the precise location of each piece of equipment and its attributes. Attributes are either common, i.e. shared by all pieces of equipment (e.g., height, manufacturer, product label, affiliation with specific technological systems) or specific to the type of equipment (for instance, in the case of lights, information on the type and number of sources is indicated along with the type of fixture.) Logical and functional interconnections (upstream/downstream connections) are also recorded for individual pieces of equipment that are part of a particular technology system or are in other systems. For instance, for “fan-coils”, ties to high voltage equipment are recorded along with those to the sewer system, cooling, heating, air-conditioning, and measurement and regulation systems.
The Passport for outdoor surface areas consists of information on undeveloped areas that are related to the building in question or undeveloped areas on which assets are recorded, maintained or subject to another activity.
